どうして、勉強しなかったことをこれほど自慢するかというと、それでも超一流校の学位記を獲得した自分のふるまいが「クレバー」だと思っているからである。
だって、わずかな苦役で大きな報酬を手に入れたわけだからである。
「ぜんぜん勉強しないで東大出ちゃいました」というのは、キーボードをちゃかちゃか叩いただけで１分間で数億円稼いだとか、１０００円でベンツを買ったとか、それに類する「スーパー・クレバーな商品取引」なのである。
消費者マインドに立てばそういうことになる。
「学校なんかぜんぜん行ってねっすよ」「教科書なんか開いたことない」「試験なんか、ぜんぶ一夜漬けで、あとカンニング」というような言葉が「ほとんど誇らしげ」に口にされるのは学校教育で競われているのが「何を学んだか」ではなく「いかに効率よく競争に勝つか」だと彼ら自身が信じているからである。
